Our Foodtography School Scholarship Program provides financial aid to people who want to learn more about the intersection of food and photography and are serious about making a career out of food photography. 

Our mission…

The Foodtography School Scholarship Program aims to expand on the mission Foodtography School was founded on— providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to turn food photography into a successful business.

Through our scholarship program, we want to broaden our community and make food photography a career that is accessible to all!

Students can apply for a scholarship to any of our three most extensive courses: Foodtography School, Advanced Foodtography School, Restaurant Foodtography School, and Influence. 

Who is this Scholarship For?

If you are ready to improve your food photography game through one of our courses but money is a barrier, this scholarship program is for you!

We believe that you don’t need a bunch of fancy equipment, or tons of cash lying around in hidden treasure chests (how cool would that be, though?) in order to produce beautiful food photos. Instead, all you need is a fundamental knowledge of composition and visual principles of design. 

We also strongly believe in the importance of inclusivity within our spaces. We understand that marginalized communities — including people of color, people from working-class backgrounds, women, and LGBTQ people — are integral to not only the work we do but society at large. Hence, we strongly encourage people with these identities or who are members of other marginalized communities to apply.

    Hi, I have a Question…
    • + - Does the scholarship program have a rolling deadline?
      Yes! We are always accepting applications. You can apply or re-apply at any time.
    • + - I previously applied to the scholarship. Do I need to re-apply?
      For this round, we will review all applications received after October 24th, 2022. If you applied after that date, there's no need to re-apply. If you applied before Monday, October 24th, 2022 you're welcome to re-apply!
    • + - Do you accept international students?
      Yes! We absolutely love the fact that our community is international, and encourage you to apply.
    • + - Do you need to have a prior career in food photography?
      A background in food photography is not required to apply to our scholarship program.
    • + - Do you have eligibility requirements?
      Yes, you must be 18 years or older to apply.
    • + - Is this scholarship anonymous?
      We plan to announce the recipients of the scholarship on November 1, 2022. However, if you receive the scholarship and would like to remain anonymous, we respect that decision and will keep your scholarship details anonymous.
