Hey hey! My name is Sarah, and I’m the creator behind Foodtography School, where I’ve taught over 6,000 students how to improve their food photography through fun and information-packed online courses. I started my food blog, Broma Bakery, back in 2010 when I was a broke college student looking to bring creativity into her daily life. What was intended as a passion project has since grown into my career.
Since going full-time with my blog in 2013, I made it my ultimate goal to strengthen my food photography. I lived by the adage “content is king,” believing that as my food photography improved, the content itself would open doors.
And guess what? It worked. Actually, it more than worked. Broma Bakery grew beyond my wildest dreams into a 6-figure business within a matter of years. All because of my photographs!
…which is why I created Foodtography School. So that I could pass along the knowledge I’ve gained in the past 8 years of learning food photography. Because we are only strong when we band together.
Foodtography School is more than a course; it’s a community of individuals building each other up and helping each other grow. I’m so incredibly proud of the students who have already come through our course, and cannot wait for you to become one of them.
Imagine your to do list. Now imagine someone doing it for you. That’s what I do. I’m Britt, and I’m the behind the scenes-tech-and-organizing guru for Foodtography School.
My background is in online business and internet marketing, and honestly, I’m just here for the amazing pictures of cakes and cookies. I nerd out about weird things that no one likes: tech. This includes Facebook and Instagram advertising, email campaigns, webinars, content planning, and course design.
Did I lose you already? Are you snoring? Overwhelmed? I get that a lot. My name is often used as noun when people talk about me…as in “I need a Brittany.” I think they mean “I need tech help” but at this point, I’m not quite sure. When I started helping entrepreneurs and business owners scale their online businesses back in 2014, I had no idea I would be helping tens of thousands of students learn through online education.
I help my clients create organizing systems in their business to impact as many lives as possible. I love working with people who love what they do, and I love seeing students like you get results from amazing curators like Sarah.
Hi Guys! I’m Shanley, proud Foodtography Alum, turned Foodtography School Marketing Director! I’ve been in the food marketing space for over a decade, most recently in Chicago and Detroit.
I was introduced to Sarah at an influencer event 2 years ago. From the moment I met her, she urged me to quit my day job running the email campaigns for the Detroit Red Wings and go full-time into my own thing. So guess what? I listened to her and started my own digital marketing firm. Sarah changed my life and I’ll love her forever for it!
Over the past couple of years, I’ve built a thriving business helping entrepreneurs hone in on their visual branding, social media, and digital marketing. Let’s just say Instagram is MY JAM. And YES, I’m the chick behind the @foodtographyschoool handle. I help Sarah with everything from building out Foodtography School courses, to blog writing, website design, small product offerings… the list goes on. You name it I DO IT.

Hey, y’all! My name is Alejandra and I am the operations manager at Foodtography School. I am a high school math teacher turned food blogger, and a proud Foodtography School alum!
As operations manager I work behind the scenes to help make the FS magic happen! I work on our email, website, and manage our affiliate program. On any given day I do anything from helping future students pick the right course for them to helping put our gorgeous website together.
I LOVE being a part of the Foodtography School team and adding value to our students’ lives. The teacher in me gets SO excited when I see a student who I helped join our community absolutely nailing their pictures or landing amazing brand deals. I absolutely love being of service to others and I can’t wait to be a part of your food photography journey!
Ciao! I’m Grace, copywriter for Foodtography School. I’m also a swing dancer, a big fan of leather-bound notebooks, and #TeamEdward (…is that still a thing?). I live in Los Angeles, but I’m originally from Kansas. And yes, I do own a pair of overalls.
One thing you get asked a lot when you’re a Creative Writing Major is, “what are you going to, like, do for a job?” And, when you graduate in the middle of a pandemic over a Zoom call, you might start asking yourself the same question.
Luckily, I’ve never been one for doing things the “normal” way, so after graduation, I decided to hire myself and become a freelance writer! WHOOPEE! And when I discovered Foodtography School, it was totally love at first sight. (Like, I’m pretty sure rose petals fell from the sky and violin music started playing.) I’m obsessed with online learning and how more and more people can get access to the skills they need to have a thriving career with courses just like this one.
Now, when someone asks me, “what do you do with your creative writing degree?” I can happily say: I write! And I write so that people like YOU can learn to do what you’ve always dreamed of doing, too.
Hi Friends! My name is Robin and as the Social Media Manager, I’m the trigger finger posting on our social channels every day. I’m a professional eater, and a Canadian that despises the cold but loves poutine.
I often refer to myself as the Swiss Army Knife of Digital Marketing. My five years of experience covers everything from social media, graphic design, copywriting, influencer marketing, and photography to even tie-dying shirts with vegetable scraps (true story!). As a social media manager, I basically live on the internet so you don’t have to. And no, I’m seriously not kidding when I say I LIVE on the internet – it’s my 9-5 and also my side hustle. I keep a finger on the pulse of all things social and help brands use social media to nourish their business, attract their dream clients, and create thumb-stopping content.
Like you, I was mesmerized by Foodtography’s social feed – can you say #goals? I am continuously in awe of the breath-taking photos that Foodtography students are able to churn out and you’ll often catch me mindlessly scrolling #FoodtographySchool. As the social media manager, some of my day to days involve designing the feed, writing captions, pressing post, and brainstorming ways we can continuously step up our social game to provide YOU with a better experience.
Hello there! I’m Wilda, the graphic designer behind Foodtography School. Design has been my hobby, side hustle, and now full-time job, all over the past 6 years. I currently live in the Dominican Republic, but basically avoid the sun and the beach as much as possible. Please don’t come for me.
I specialize in brand design & creative direction– I’m the person you drop your business strategy to. Everything is designed, from the couch you are sitting on right now to the way I am typing on my keyboard. Design solves problems and (unfortunately, maybe?) we have lots of them. All that to say: I’ll be here to develop your brand identity, build a website experience that converts, create a cohesive social media presence, launch your new business venture, or even re-design that really uncomfortable couch you have in your home.

Hiii! My name is Samira and I am the Customer Service Manager for Foodtography School. I have a big appetite for tasty treats as well as helping others. I’m a proud SoCal girl that is obsessed with In-N-Out and needs a coat when the weather is below 70°F.
Before becoming a part of the Foodtography School team I was both a customer and a huge fan, so now as the Customer Service Manager, my goal is to be the eyes and ears for all our students and customers. I respond to emails answering any questions or comments you may have regarding enrollment, courses, or will work with you to troubleshoot any issues that arise (pesky technology). I always make sure that our students and customers feel heard and have a satisfactory experience.
I’m also a chef in the making that loves spending my free time testing new recipes and baking until the sun rises… fresh cookies taste better at 3am, trust me. I love fangirling over anything food related, and yes that includes the AMAZING work of our students! You can catch me standing in a long line to try the latest food trends and of course post it to the gram. As a recent college graduate with my Bachelors Degree in Communications, I get so excited to spark up a conversation with others and look forward to having interactions with YOU!
Hi! I’m Kristina, the Affiliate Manager here at Foodtography School. My love for business and baked goods runs deep, and places where they intersect are my favorite. Iced coffee and perfectly-gooey cinnamon bun centers are my love language.
I graduated college in 2010 with an Economics degree and headed straight into Corporate America. I was quick to learn that my passions lived elsewhere. Following my heart was the only thing that felt right, and my heart happens to have an incredible passion for baking. My dream became reality, and I opened my own bakery in 2013. I ran and operated that little shop for five years before deciding it was time to move on to other ventures.
I now, instead, spend time baking in my own kitchen while simultaneously pursuing my passion for small business.
I have admired Sarah’s work since my bakery days, and am elated that such a perfect job could exist for me! Here at Foodtography School I am the go-to gal for all things affiliates, creating synergistic partnerships with other insanely talented food photographers. I live by the philosophy that there is room for everyone to succeed, and there will always be magic found inside of collaboration over competition.
