A heartfelt goodbye.

Dear Foodtography School Community,

After much consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to close down Foodtography School. While it’s certainly not easy to bid farewell to a company and a community that has been so close to my heart for the last 7 years, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared together.

When I first started Foodtography School, I had a vision of creating a vibrant community where food enthusiasts and photographers could come together to learn, grow, and share their passions. But I never could have imagined just how many people we’d reach. Foodtography School has blossomed into a community of hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world and from all walks of life. We’ve seen countless students develop their skills, gain confidence behind the lens, and pursue their dreams in the world of food, photography, and influencing.

A core mission of Foodtography School has been to empower each of you to grow and pivot in your own careers. And now, it’s my turn to pivot. As my blogging and influencing career continues to grow, it has become clear that I need to carve out more room to pursue my own aspirations. Not only have I been heading Foodtography School, creating valuable educational content and courses, coaching on live coaching calls, and providing ongoing community support, but I’ve also been writing and launching a cookbook, heading a large blog and social accounts, managing a team of people, and running a photography studio. It’s… a lot. So while it’s a difficult decision to make, I believe this decision is necessary in order for me to continue to develop professionally.

Onto some logistics:

— If you have bought anything from Foodtography School, you still have full access to any purchase you’ve ever made through your private membership area until February 2025, as we are continuing to pay for hosting for all products through February 2025.

— The Foodtography School Facebook group will remain open indefinitely for existing members

— The Foodtography School Instagram account will no longer be active in DMs

Thank you for your unwavering support, your enthusiasm, and your passion for the art of food photography. Although Foodtography School is closing its doors, I encourage you to continue pursuing your passion for food, photography, and social media, to keep honing your craft, and to never stop seeking inspiration from the world around you. While this may be the end of one chapter, I am excited to see what the future holds for each of us.

With gratitude and warmest wishes,

Sarah
